Enable developer options
Developer options allow you to activate phone settings that are not initially necessary for the device to function properly.
To activate them:
- Go to the settings of your Android phone,
- Go to system settings;
- Touch the “About phone” tab;
- Tap the “Build number” box 7 times;
- The developer options then appear in the settings of your smartphone.

Enable dark mode on your phone
In the list of developer options, find “Force dark mode” and tap the button.
Launch the Snapchat app
When launching the Snapchat application, if dark mode is not activated despite your manipulations, you have one last solution.
You will then need to uninstall the application to reinstall an older version of it.
However, this practice is not very advisable as choosing an older version of an application can deprive you of different features and a duly updated security system.
